Connelly Carbon C1 Versatail 2024 WaterSki

Pros and cons

  • A standard tunnel leaves flatter surface between the edge of the tunnel and the bevel, giving the ski more stability while maintaining edge hold.
  • Carbon is extremely light and super responsive. We combine that with 10% fiberglass which dampens vibration, turning choppy water into butter and drastically increasing the life of your ski.
  • V-Tech adapted for a faster moving ski. Curves in the “V” shaped steps disrupt more flow in the center of the tunnel and less along the edge. This reduces overall drag while maintaining edge hold.

Buy your #2024 Connelly Carbon C1 Versatail Waterski now @ waterskis.lv, Your Online Pro Waterski Store.

Simply put, the 2024 Connelly Carbon V Waterski outperforms all other mid-range skis. Advanced slalom geometries and the customization of Versatail make this aggressive setup accessible to all skiers. The 2024 Connelly Carbon V Waterski is the only ski on the market available with low density Skelecore which reduces the overall mass and allows the fibers to flex naturally. You’ll find this ski to be light and responsive, yet it easily absorbs any chatter.

With the 2024 Connelly Carbon V and VersaTail, you choose how your ski rides and reacts.

Ski Width

  • Narrow skis ride deeper in the water, offering more contact and control. This makes edge transitions faster and requires less leverage to achieve low angles, quick turns and explosive speed. Wide skis are necessary at slower speeds to keep the ski on top of the water and provide a stable and predictable ride. To maximize performance and control, we use the same basic features as our top end skis and tune them for less speed.

Ski Flex

  • Flexibility is a critical factor to find the perfect platform for your style of skiing. By utilizing different orientations, types, and amounts of carbon and fiberglass we can fine tune the flex of each ski to perfectly suit the intended use. Our high-performance skis use carbon to provide precision and explosive acceleration. If you’re looking to just get out on the water and have a good time, our recreational skis contain fiberglass for a forgiving and less demanding ride.

Versatail

  • While considerable masterminding is put into the overall construction of a high-end slalom ski — the sidecut, rocker, bevels, etc — many people don’t realize how large a part the last few inches of the tail play. A change in tail geometry can mean the difference in a ski performing in perfect rhythm with your personal style. Our patent pending VersaTail technology offers the ability to fine tune the flow of water off the tail of the ski, taking a step beyond the standard fin and binding position adjustments. Skiers can choose from one of three tails, which are all included with the 2021 Connelly DV8 Versatail Waterski.

Speed V-Tech

V-Tech adapted for a faster moving ski. Curves in the “V” shaped steps disrupt more flow in the center of the tunnel and less along the edge. This reduces overall drag while maintaining edge hold.

50/50 Carbon/Glass

Blending an equal mix of carbon and fiberglass creates a fast, responsive ski with consistent, smooth flex that won’t chatter on imperfect water.

Wide Tunnel

This tunnel design leaves an extremely narrow flat spot between the edge of the tunnel and the bevel of the ski. The effect is a ski that actively seeks to be on edge, most useful for experienced skiers and buoy chasers that have above average ski control.
